How the order is set: direct partners first (labelled), then the biggest verified package, an alternative from another operator group, the name most often listed by the desks we sweep, and the long-standing brands at the foot. Full method: how we rate.

Partner links: we earn a commission when a reader opens an account through the button on a line. Scores on this page are ours, on a ten-point scale. Top lists counts how many of the desks we read named the brand in our September sweep. Every operator here settles in US dollars. None of them holds a state gaming licence in the United States — these are offshore operators, and the licence each one does hold is printed on its line. 21+.

How Slot Tournaments Work

Generally, slot tournaments are a partnership between a casino and a software provider. These parties decide on a game and a prize pool, then track the leaderboard on the casino.

The differences between tournaments start with entry fees because some require a buy-in, and some are free to play. Most of the time, the entry fee is added to the prize pool, but there’s usually a separate cash prize too.

When playing slot machines in the competition, you have to bet to earn points or land certain symbols. Since slots vary a lot, this will be explained when you enter to avoid confusion. Be sure to read through all terms and conditions before you start playing.

Are Slots Rigged?

No, slots are not rigged because legitimate casinos only offer games that use tried and tested random number generators (RNGs). Every slot machine is programmed to use these for truly random outcomes and a consistent payout percentage.

These payback percentages are what make a slot popular, and they need to be accurate because they’re regularly audited by a third-party. So, every game offered for a slot tournament will always be fair so that you can get to the top of the leaderboard.

Your chance of winning also remains the same as any other slots player, so there’s no need to worry. You play the slot online, and any winnings are paid in real money.

What’s The Secret To Winning Slot Tournaments?

There’s no secret to winning slot tournament prizes because there’s no way to influence the games. So, you need to keep spinning, get more free spins, big wins or symbols, and track your progress on the tournament leaderboard.

While we wish there were a foolproof strategy or secret to winning, it’s pure luck. So, trust your gut and bet as much as you can afford.
