- Dealer Wins Ties – In Caribbean 21, any tie results will mean the Dealer wins. This is done to compensate for several other player-friendly rules that improve your odds. Most versions of Blackjack treat a tie as a push.
- One Up Card – This is a rule taken from European Blackjack. At the start of the round, the player will receive their cards, and the dealer will receive a single card, face up. It is not until the player has finished with their hand that the dealer will receive their second card.
- Split Any – In regular Blackjack, players can only split when they have a pair of identical cards. In Caribbean 21, players can split their hands, no matter what cards they have been dealt.

- Insurance – If the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace, players will be able to take out an insurance bet. The insurance bet needs to be 1.5x the original bet. If the dealer does land up getting two more 10-value cards and getting Caribbean Blackjack, the insurance bet is paid out 9:1.
